What is BASE?
The Before, After School and Summer Enrichment (BASE) Programs are designed to provide safe, quality, affordable child care in the school setting; whereby each individual child is enriched with various experiences conducive to their academic, social, and physical development. All BASE programs are licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services. All programs strictly adhere to State and School District policies and procedures.

Goals
• BASE Program services will be convenient, affordable, and responsive to community needs.
• BASE Programs will be committed to hire and continually train quality staff, who work directly with children, building strong and positive relationships in a safe and caring environment.
• BASE Programs will support the District goal of having 95% of our students meeting grade level standards by engaging in age appropriate reading, writing and mathematics activities several times a week.
• BASE Programs will provide a variety of age appropriate recreational enrichment activities for children.
• BASE Programs will be self-supporting.
• The BASE Program will strive to establish a cooperative environment where children learn social skills, develop their character and self-esteem, learn to appreciate diversity, become leaders, and have FUN!!

Before School Program

6:30 a.m.- 7:45 a.m.
After School Program 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Staff Development Day (Wednesday)

1:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m
Half Days 10:40 a.m. - 6:00 p.m
Full Days 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

WEEKLY TUITION:

Before School Program $20.00 per week
After School Program $55.00 per week
Before/After School Program $71.00 per week
DAILY TUITION (if available)
Before School Program $6.00 per day
After School Program $17.00 per day
Full Day Program $31.00 per day
Half Day Program $20.00 per day

2009 Summer Day Camp Registration
Thursday April 16, 2009 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm

2009 Summer Tuition - June 1st through August 7th, 2009
$50.00 Registration Fee – Includes 2 summer camp T-shirts
$135.00 Weekly
$31.00 Daily

Summer Tuition includes the following:

• Guest speakers
• 3 to 4 field trips each week
• Transportation
• Educational programs
• 2 satisfying snacks per day
• Fun, safe, quality environment for all children

Registration Procedures

A pre-registration orientation with the Director is required for all families at the time of registration. The following must be completed and returned prior to a child attending any program.
  • At the beginning of each school year and summer program, a completed BASE Program registration form must be filled out prior to attending the BASE program.
  • Registration fees are due annually and are non-refundable.
  • Occasionally spaces fill up, so applicants are encouraged to register as soon as possible. All programs are based on a “first come-first served” basis. Spaces are limited due to license capacities and/or student/staff ratio. If a particular program is full to capacity, a wait list will be provided for those spaces that may become available.
  • If you should need to withdraw your child/children from the BASE Program, we require a written notice two weeks in advance of your child’s withdrawal from the program. Any outstanding balance must be paid prior to the time of withdrawal.
