– Demonstrates an increase of at least one year’s achievement in a given school year

   in unique, resourceful ways

– Uses various forms of artistic expression

"Uses time efficiently and creates quality work"

– Completes work products that meet content standard expectations

– Stays on task and manages time wisely

"Seeks a well-rounded lifestyle that displays physical, emotional, and social wellness"

– Understands and demonstrates fundamentals of good nutrition and physical fitness
   Seeks health resources, participates in health programs offered by school,
   community agencies

– Exhibits positive self-esteem

– Manages stress effectively

"Displays respect, integrity, and trustworthiness"

– Does own work and gives credit to others’ work as appropriate

– Follows rules and procedures

– Distinguishes between right and wrong

– Sets challenging, realistic goals that help him/her plan for purpose past high school

– Takes initiative, makes decisions that allow him/her to achieve these goals

"Develops critical thinking skills and utilizes appropriate decision making strategies"

– Solves academic problems that require high-order thinking skills

– Communicates thinking at increasing levels of complexity, abstraction, and sophistication

– Uses information and ideas from multiple sources to make informed decisions
