Special Education
Glacier Peak's school psychologist, Mrs. Amber Choy, brings a wealth of experience and expertise in child development, supporting individual student success, and upholds best practices in school-wide interventions. With a commitment to enhancing mental health and learning outcomes, Mrs. Choy provides invaluable guidance and evidence-based strategies tailored to each student and family's unique needs.
Working alongside Mrs. Choy, is our school psychology intern, Ms. Rebecca Eckblad. As an intern, Ms. Eckblad will be here through the 2024-2025 school year while she completes her EdS degree from the University of Denver. She will be supporting and contributing to the school's special education programming. Ms. Eckblad is passionate about learning and applying effective trauma-informed practices to help students thrive in all areas of their life.
Anna Ramirez - I am excited to be a part of the Glacier Peak family! I am entering my 21st year providing speech-language services. Before working at Glacier Peak, I worked in the Brighton 27J School District and two different school districts in Texas. I genuinely enjoy working with children and encouraging them to be successful communicators.
