Our Principal
I am absolutely thrilled to take on the role of principal at Glacier Peak Elementary! It's been an incredible journey so far, having served as the assistant principal here for four years (half-time). My journey began after graduating from The University of Northern Colorado in 2001, when I started my teaching career in Adams 12. Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching grades 4 and 5, as well as serving as an Interventionist.
My passion for education led me to become an instructional coach in 2014. During this time, I had the pleasure of working with Centennial Elementary and Arapahoe Ridge Elementary, gaining valuable experiences along the way. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work at various elementary schools, including Malley Drive, Skyview, North Mor, and Cherry Drive Elementary. Each experience has taught me so much, and I cherish the growth and learning that came with them.
Now, being part of this caring community at Glacier Peak Elementary, I am dedicated to providing each student and their family with an equitable educational experience. I believe in the power of listening to their voices and supporting them wholeheartedly. Please know that I am always here to support and collaborate with you.
Feel free to get in touch with me anytime, whether in person, by phone, or through email. I am excited about this new chapter and look forward to sharing this journey together!
Sincerely,
Jeanna Costa, Principal
